BrockEdwardLesnar.Com's "NEXT BIG BLOG"
by John Rocca // Posted April 21st 2009

Introduction:

Greetings everyone. It’s been a while since the last blog. I am sorry about that. It’s just that there has been very little Brock news since his last fight that it’s like okay, why should I talk about anybody else besides Brock? But then again I am a huge MMA fan now and an even bigger UFC fan. There are so many things happening right now in the UFC that it’s getting red hot by the day.

UFC 98: GRUDGE MATCH Postponed till UFC 100:

I just wanted to mention this again because I am very irritated by the news. I really wanted this fight to happen at UFC 98 because it would have been on my birthday and what better way to celebrate it by watching UFC with a few buddies in my house and watch as Brock destroys Frank Mir. Mir thinks by postponing the fight he is buying himself more time, but in reality he's only delaying the inevitable. This fight is going to be the defining moment in the career of Lesnar. Because number one, should he win he will be avenging his first ever loss. Number two, he will have successfully defended his title in his first title defense. Number three and probably the most important point of them all, he will showing not only the UFC “Universe” (lol had to do it) but also every single fighter in the heavyweight division that Brock Lesnar is for real! I am willing to believe that there are still a lot of people out there thinking Brock Lesnar is a fluke. I can’t stress this enough with everyone, if Lesnar was a fluke, he wouldn’t even have gotten pass Heath Herring and Heath is a veteran in the octagon. But then again this all goes back to the fact that Brock Lesnar was a professional wrestler and even though he has shown that he can definitely go inside the octagon, some still assume that Brock is not a real fighter. With all this extra time that Brock has had to prepare for his next fight, I not only know but I guarantee you all that he is way better now than he was at the Couture fight. One thing I admire about Brock is his dedication, when he puts his mind to something he goes at it full force and this time I believe that he will beat Frank Mir in a very dominant performance.

Ultimate Fighter – Team UK vs Team USA:

Haha this show rocks man! Dana White is a mad genius when he came up with this show. I love the concept this year. When I watched the first episode featuring the tournament just to get into the house I was blown away. They started with the Brits as each and every single one of them deserved to be in the house. All sixteen of them had what it took to be the next Ultimate Fighter but only eight could make it on the show, very sad but it’s how it got to be. Then the following week we saw the the Yanks (lol love that terminology) and sadly they had a lousy start, one guy fainted, another guy didn’t even make weight, it was ridicules. But for the guys that were in there trying to qualify they did a bang up job and showed they had heart to go through with it. I can’t wait to see these guys actually fight each other now, because like Dana said, the UK guys are hungry because they don’t get the same opportunities that the Americans get so this should make for a very entertaining season.

Closing:

Once again this is all for now, I really have little news right now but as the fight between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir draws closer I think there will be plenty to talk about. I also will do a full analysis on both fighters much like a tale of the tape and give my predictions to the entire card. Next blog will definitely be more enjoyable to read. Take care everyone and have a good one!
