BROCK WILL FIGHT AGAIN
Posted by Suzi, on 08 Jan 2010
Brock “will fight again,” according to his trainer, Marty Morgan, who provided the update in a speech at “The Clash” wrestling tournament in Minnesota.

"[Lesnar] had a bout with a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract in November and now we’re working our way back to where we need to get back to to fight,” said Morgan. “I don’t give more answers than that, Brock doesn’t give more answers, and his agents don’t give more answers. There’s only a handful of people that know where we’re at. We’ve always just kept quiet with what’s going on. He will fight again, I know that. It’s just a matter of the public finding out when.” [credit: MMAfrenzy.com]

DANA WHITE'S RECENT "COMMENT" ON BROCK'S HEALTH
Posted by Suzi, on 07 Jan 2010
From MMAFighting.com:

News about UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was expected to come this week, but with the days winding down, mum seems to be the word.

UFC President Dana White, when reached via text, said he could not comment on anything regarding the champion's health and re-evaluation.

"Brock asked me not to talk about it," he said. "I have to respect that."

When asked if he could make any statement at all about Lesnar, White was again uncharacteristically silent.

"No comment," he said. "First time in nine years I have ever said that."

As he himself noted, White's silence on a subject is rare. Just days ago during the weekend of UFC 108, White informed the media that news regarding Lesnar's health would be forthcoming following a re-evaluation in the coming week. The notoriously private Lesnar has not made a single public statement since his health issues began, and most of the available information about his condition has come from White, who has cited his function as a promoter in previously overriding Lesnar's wish for secrecy.

Earlier in the day, MMA Fighting briefly spoke with Lesnar's trainer Greg Nelson, who said that he had not yet heard any new information regarding the champion's health.

[Note: Some websites report that Brock is probably out til 2011.. claiming they got this information from his facebook page. That very facebook page is a fraud though, the only valid facebook profile affiliated with Brock is listed on Deathclutch.com. Means we still have to wait to get new informations.]

WHITE ON BROCK
Posted by Suzi, on 03 Jan 2010
Dana White once again answered questions about Brock during yesterday's UFC event. He said:

“This week I’ll know. “If the doctors say things are going well and things are going in the right direction, then maybe we’re a few months away (from Lesnar’s return). If it’s not, and he’ll have to retire, or he’ll be out for a couple of years.”

White said the possibility of additional surgery for Lesnar, the promotion’s biggest pay-per-view draw, is still very present.

“If he has to have this major surgery, we’re talking about changing the quality of this guy’s life forever. I like him. I respect him. I hope that doesn’t happen for him and his family’s sake. Pay-per-view buys? I don’t give a sh-- about that. I hope the guy’s OK.”

White said Lesnar, an avid outdoorsman who lives in rural Minnesota, had called him to complain that the UFC president kept on sending him electronic gadgets, gifts that were useless since he doesn't own a computer. So White sent him a package of ice fishing rods.
