According to reports, there was a noticable amount more interest in Brock Lesnar than "Stone Cold" Steve Austin or Hulk Hogan at the Mr. Olympia 2 days ago.
Lesnar reportedly had much longer lines for autographs than any bodybuilders or Austin and Hogan. It should be noted that Austin and Lesnar were taking photos and signing autographs for free, while Hogan was charging $50 per person.
Lesnar also made some comments about his next opponent Shane Carwin:
“He’s a tough guy. He’s undefeated, but some of the guys he’s beaten aren’t worthy of having on your record. He hasn’t fought anybody. He’s fought (Gabriel) Gonzaga, so I really think he’s 1-0."
“He’s a tough guy and a wrestler. But he’s a Division II national champion — enough said.”
“I don’t know what he is, 11-0, 10-0, but he’ll have a loss against Brock Lesnar,” Lesnar said with a stone face.

Here's a clip of Brock meeting Trish Startus at Mr. Olympia:
Q: What do you expect from the title match between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin?
Nogueira: That’s an even match. Brock has an advantage for being heavier, but now he’s going up against a big guy. Let’s see what happens. Carwin has a heavy hand, but Lesnar is a better wrestler. He has a little advantage there, but I think Carwin has really dangerous hands. It’ll be a great fight to watch.
Q: After your last performance, do you believe the UFC will give you a chance to recover your belt?
Nogueira: I hope my next fight will be for the belt. I’ll train for that and hopefully I’ll be as well prepared as I was for my last fight. If so, I can’t lose.
Q: Now who would you rather face, Carwin or Brock?
Nogueira: I prefer Brock, of course. He’s a big guy, who impresses for his size and I can show I can do well against him.
Q: Who stands out for you at the moment in the UFC ? KIMBO: Brock Lesnar. He’s a big guy, one of the guys who was questioned when he came into MMA, like I was, and he is answering all the questions. He’s the guy to beat at the moment, and I’d like to fight him at some point. He’s come from a different environment, he’s taking it seriously, and he’s the champion. He’s the biggest threat in the division. He’s for real, and he’s got to be taken seriously as the champion. I don’t like him, but I like him, if you know what I mean. I think a fight between us one day would be good for tv and good for the fight game.”
UFC.com just posted an article officially stating the main event for UFC 106 will be Lesnar vs Carwin for the Undisputed Heavyweight Title.
Both Brock and Carwin made some comments about the match-up:
Brock: "I'm excited to get back in the Octagon on November 21st to defend my title. I’m looking forward to fighting Shane Carwin. He’s undefeated and I’m the man who is going to put an end to that."
Carwin: "I was extremely excited when I got the news that I was fighting Brock. I couldn’t even sleep that night. This fight is going to be different for both of us. We’re not used to facing someone who equals us in size. I can see this fight taking place everywhere. We both have wrestling backgrounds, but hopefully we’ll get into some exchanges on the feet too."
