DUFFEE & JBL ON BROCK
Posted by Suzi, on 29 May 2009
Todd Duffee and John "Bradshaw" Layfield made some comments about Brock in interviews recently.

Here's what Duffee had to say about the Lesnar-Mir rematch and who is going to win it: "I honestly don't know. It could go either way. You're going to see a different Brock every time that he shows up. He is learning so much at such a fast pace. With Mir, he can beat you anywhere so it's a very interesting matchup. I think it will come down to who is "on" that night."

And this comes from JBL (who obviously thinks UFC should be run like WWE..): "Dana White should’ve never booked that fight [between Lesnar and Frank Mir]. That was the one fallibility that Brock had was he didn’t know submissions. He’s a brute, he was a national champion [in wrestling] but he won it by beating up people. Not even sure he’s a great wrestler, he’s just a great athlete. You put him in there against Frank Mir, I would have never done that. I would’ve gave him eight tomato cans in a row, you don’t have to fix them [the fights], but let Brock become your biggest draw. You almost hurt your biggest draw, thank god he came back, at least for Brock and for fans of Brock and beat Randy Couture."

LASHLEY ON BROCK
Posted by Suzi, on 28 May 2009
MMA-fighter and TNA wrestler Bobby Lashley answered some fan questions at fighthype.com, some of them about Brock:

Q: What do you think about facing Brock Lesnar in the future?

Bobby Lashley: I think with any heavyweight fighter, Brock is at the top right now, so he is in my sights along with other top heavyweights.

Q: Is is frustrating to hear people make the comparisons of you to Brock Lesnar?

BL: No because we both have the same vision of being a champion. He just did it a little quicker than I did.

Q: Who do you like in the rematch between Lesnar and Mir?

BL: I think it will be a great fight for the fans. I know Frank is ready. I've talked to him personally. I know Brock is training hard. The fans will get their monies worth in this fight.

BROCK SLAMS WWE
Posted by Suzi, on 28 May 2009
Current UFC champion, and the husband of former WWE Diva Sable (Rena Mero), Brock Lesnar was interviewed by Maxim Magazine for an article in this month's issue.

Lesnar absolutely buried the WWE lifestyle in the article and said that the company prevented him from living a normal life.

"You get so brainwashed. You're on the road 300 days a year, and that's why guys get so messed up," Lesnar told Maxim.

"This life just becomes a part of them. It's not real, but some guys who are still in the business think it is. You look at Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler - he just couldn't let it go. You live a double life."

"I was tired of trying to be who I was in the ring and then coming home for two days to be normal. They didn't allow you to be. The guys who get out are the smart ones, really and truly."
