According to a recent interview with tatame.com, Lyoto Machida wants to challenge himself. Against UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Here is what Machida had to say…
"I don't think about fight at heavyweight division, but I think about a challenge, maybe against the heavyweight champion, but it's time for it now. My focus, for sure, is on my division now, later is later. Maybe a fight against Brock Lesnar. He's a huge guy, showed himself very aggressive and strong, who knows if one day we can fight… I respect him as a fighter, he's very strong, but I'm professional and I'd like to test myself."
Former NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion Brock Lesnar, who competes for the Ultimate Fighting Championship on July 11 in Las Vegas, entertained Dunkers Club members at breakfast this morning at the Minneapolis Club.
Lesnar, 32, and wife Rena are expecting a baby boy this week (webmiss note: might be wrong, Brock once stated the boy is expected in june). He said life couldn't be any better for him since getting out of pro wrestling and into UFC, where he can control his fate rather than having others in charge. He was exceptionally humble and gave lots of credit to those who have helped him along the way (credit: twincities.com)

THE CHAMP Brock Lesnar: Lesnar is a scary human for several reasons. Chief among them is his freakish combination of size and athleticism. The 6’3 former collegiate wrestling champion must cut upwards of 15 lbs from his massively muscled frame in order to make the heavyweight limit of 265 lbs; yet he moves with the nimbleness of a 230 lb NFL football player. Lesnar is such a great athlete that he was able to win the heavyweight championship in his fourth professional fight, tying Hall of Fame inductee Randy Couture for the fewest professional fights before donning UFC divisional gold. Appropriately enough, he accomplished that feat by defeating none other than the legend himself by second round TKO last November at UFC 91. Next up for Lesnar is another significant career milestone, as he squares off with the only man to defeat him, Frank Mir, at UFC 100. The champ is not shy about admitting that his need to avenge that loss burns white hot in his gut. He will have the opportunity to permanently stamp out that flame in July.
