Frank Mir had some serious words for his fight against Brock Lesnar in a segment of last night's Inside the Octagon. Lesnar and Mir will face off for the second time on July 11th at UFC 100. Here's what Mir had to say:
“I’m going to soon be the the destroyer of Brock Lesnar’s legacy and career…. Obviously, I’m slightly scared — just look at Brock … he is a scary guy. When he was beating me down I went to tap. Oh, well, that’s right. Brock asked the referee to come over and save him! At [UFC 81] I wasn’t really working with a jiu-jitsu coach. I was my own coach. I now have Demian Maia who is my head jiu-jitsu coach. My game has gone drastically to different levels. I thought I was actually good at it until I started rolling with him.” (credit: mmamania.com)
Brock took part in a 3-day UFC photo shoot at Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas last week. Yesterday he was at SNMMAs "Extreme Beatdown" to support his teammate Chris Tuchscherer.
On this weeks interview on Inside MMA Brock talked about Fedor:
"I have nothing against Fedor. He's a great fighter. Would I ever fight him some day? Absolutely, I would. I keep getting this question, 'You don't like Fedor?' No, I don't have nothing against the guy. There's just nothing to talk about until there's a fight between him and I, and he signs with this organization. Then we can talk."
