“I’m looking forward to getting right back in the Octagon,” Lesnar said. “After the long layoff, my last fight was just an appetizer, I’m still hungry. I’m in great condition and the timing couldn’t be better. Cain Velasquez is undefeated and he’s the legitimate No. 1 contender, but he’s not the guy that is going to take my UFC heavyweight title. It’s not his time; it’s my time. I’m coming to California to defend my crown, and on October 23rd, I’ll be walking out of the Octagon with my hand raised and the belt around my waist. Cain will be leaving with his first loss. It’s as simple as that.”
“I feel honored to be fighting for the heavyweight title against Brock,” Velasquez said. “He is a great fighter with a lot of size and is super athletic. This will be a great fight with a lot of action and it means a lot to me to be fighting for the title in L.A., close to my hometown. I will have a lot of people behind me cheering me on."

PWInsider.com reports that Brock's official autobiography that he is currently writing with Paul Heyman will be titled " Brock Lesnar - Undisputed". A few other unauthorized books about Brock will also be available soon.

Q: For a lot of the guys it was like an all star camp. So many top fighters in certain weight classes. And you almost had that for a little bit when it looked for a time like Brock Lesnar was going to make Miletich his home. Did you get to work with Brock at all when he was there at the beginning of his career?
Tim Sylvia: I was coming off surgery so I never got a chance to train with him. But Brock and I became pretty good friends. We'd go out to Big Shot and shoot out there and go out to dinner and stuff. Brock and I are a lot alike when it comes to our personal lives.
Fedor's manager Vadim Finkelstein revealed in an interview on LowKick.com that he believes the superfight between Brock and Fedor is no longer possible.
Q: How can you describe the current relationship with the UFC President Dana White, and what's the main obstacle that prevents to sign a deal with the UFC?
Finkelstein: First of all, we never had any sort of relationship with Dana White, and secondly, he said that he was no longer interested in Fedor – we should have expected this. We want to arrange a fight with Brock Lesnar, but I think it's no longer possible.
